5 Simple Wedding Planning Tips
It’s Your Wedding – Learn to say no
Planning a wedding is exciting and fun but it can also be one of the busiest times of your life. If you don’t want to end up being a nervous wreck a week before your big day, learn to prioritize and say no to any new commitments that would take away from other important wedding-related tasks. It’s really ok to say no every now and then.
Become the Queen Bride of Organization
When it comes to your critical paperwork, contracts, and other relevant information, keep a digital copy of them all in one place on your computer. You can always make a wedding binder that has all the information you need to bring with you to meetings with vendors if you wish to bring vital documents. As a bonus, it’s an excellent backup copy.
Have a little fun
You don’t have to be a stressed-out bride. In between all of your planning, take a look at your calendar and arrange some fun days. In the weeks leading up to your wedding, make sure to have a good time and laugh a lot. You need to remember why you chose to marry your partner and that trying to micromanage every element of your day will just leave you wishing it was over at some point in time. Take the girls out for a fun afternoon where you don’t chat about the upcoming wedding. Heck Schedule an Engagement Session!
Move your body
When you’ve got a lot on your plate and need to take a break and focus on your health, getting some exercise can work wonders. This does not necessitate that you go to the gym every day. Stress and energy levels can be dramatically improved with just 15-20 minutes of walking or yoga, even if you don’t have much spare time.
Just breath
You can take a total break from wedding preparation if you feel the need to. Relaxing in the tub or receiving a sensual hot stone massage is something every bride deserves before her big day. Even if it’s just 30 minutes a week, do your best to find some time to just chill out.
