There are a few things to consider when choosing the location(s) for your engagement photography.
1) Pick fewer Photography locations and spend more time at each one –
You are less likely to take pictures the longer you are moving around. As a result of the rush to fit in multiple locations within a limited amount of time, there will be fewer pictures and they may be less-perfect. We only offer two locations for our engagement sessions. An additional hour is required if a third location is needed.
Tip #2: Select Quiet Locations –
Problems arise in crowded areas. In crowded public spaces, background blurring requires some time, and there are certain times when getting a clear shot is downright impossible. As a result, there are significantly fewer pictures and perhaps even pictures with strangers in the background. The second thing to think about is that being in front of the camera in public settings isn’t always the most comfortable. It’s challenging to relax and act naturally in front of the camera when people (and frequently security) are watching. This is yet another challenge to overcome and is frequently depicted in the images.
Tip 3) Choose Simple Locations and Backgrounds –
An engagement session’s primary objective is to highlight the couple’s personalities and document their interactions. Often, all this needs is a plain, uncluttered background. Pictures of the two of you laughing and having a good time don’t need a grand backdrop.
